London HE Week 2020: Do our International Students Feel Welcome?

With international students being a critical part of many UK HEIs today, this session will look at whether more could be done to help this population of students feel truly welcome both when they initially arrive in the UK and then throughout the time they are here. This discussion will focus on issues such as:

- where do international students currently not feel fully supported

- how can institutions ensure that their cultutre is truly diverse culture

- how can institutions provide adequate support for dealing with immigration upon arrival, during the course of studies and with regards to post-study career options, to examine whether career services need to be more attuned to the changing student profile.
